California Superbike School India — About

CSS in India

California Superbike School (CSS) India set up its first camp at MMSC, Chennai in 2010 — bringing the world’s foremost motorcycle school to South East Asia.

The School was founded by the legendary Keith Code, the best known and most successful on-track motorcycle instructor in the world. The school is dedicated to improving riding skills for racing or street riding.

CSS has trained numerous MotoGP, World Superbike (WSBK), AMA Supersport & Formula, and British Superbike Champions. Notable champions include Wayne Rainey, James Toseland, John Kocinski, Thomas Lüthi, Leon Camier (Guest Coach for the CSS Chennai Camp, Jan 2012), Ben & Eric Bostrom, Doug Chandler, and Tommy Hayden.

14+ Years in India

CSS completed its 14th successful year in India at Chennai and is embarking on its 14th school in the country. Over the first 14 years, more than 1650 students were trained over 3 days — the most effective progression of cornering skill-sets ever devised.

Our Broader Objective

Revenues support the discovery and training of talented youngsters who cannot otherwise afford coaching and track time. Sarath Kumar, trained at CSS Chennai, competed in MotoGP 125cc in 2011 — the first Indian to do so.

Safer Streets, Better Riders

In a country where over 10 million motorcycles are sold yearly, CSS emphasises a curriculum that improves riding skills for both racing and everyday street riding.
